Has the release time for the macOS version been announced yet?
I just checked the App Store, and it now shows the expected release date as August 21st. Has there been an unannounced delay, or is this just an update based on my timezone? (For reference, I’m in CET.)
I have a Steam license, and an ‘Install’ button is now showing up, however there seems to be an error with the installation.
Hi @bernie, Thank you for reaching out. Just to clarify, the Mac App Store release is scheduled for August 20 (UTC).
Since the update hasn’t gone live yet, you may run into issues when installing or launching through Steam on Mac — for example, error messages that appear during setup. This is expected prior to the official release.
Once the update goes live on August 20, the game should install and run normally. If you still encounter the same issue after that date, please let us know so we can look into it further.+

We’re currently investigating an issue where the game cannot be launched or installed on Mac.
We’ll share an update as soon as we have more information.

It’s available for download on the Mac Store now - it was a little couple minute delay
