Married Couple Can't Share Same Double Bed

  • Details : City=Bliss Bay, Home=3140 Greenway Street, house is a 4 person budget home. Game resolution= 2560x1600, Game version 5.4.10 , this home has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom contains a minimalist queen bed, if one Zoi goes to sleep, I can’t get the spouse to use same bed, as I am told the item is in use please wait a while and try again. I did this, and also tried assigning the sides of the bed to husband and wife, but cannot get both into the same queen size bed. The only way around this was to delete the double bed and replace with 2 singles. and also delete the beds in the second bedroom otherwise the Zoi that cant get into the double bed would go to the second bedroom to sleep. It made no difference whether SmartZoi was turned on or off.

I fixed the issue simply by deleting the twin beds and putting back a new double bed, not sure why it solved it, but it did.

I had the same problem, but it turned out that there were zois in the house that didn’t live there. They wouldn’t leave and would use the bed. In the game you didn’t see them until they woke up and got out of the bed. The first time it happened I was stunned. There’s also the issue of ghost or invisible zois. You can’t see them, you can only see what they’re interacting with.

Hi thanks for responding. Thats something I wasn’t aware of. My zoi was constantly unhappy and could not be happy, so I divorced her, found a new partner, bought a new home and the divorcee appeared in it! I tried “ask her to leave” that didn’t work, then I found there is an option to “kick from house” that fixed it lol. The bed issue was solved when I deleted the bed and bought a new one. Theres bound to be a few gliches in a new gaame, so not really a problem, I am used tp new games being like this, but at least its not a pay to play game, you just buy it outright.
