Im a girl who loves that cozy feeling. So im thinking about making more alternetivs of the interior. More of the style of old? Or like the farm, cottage feeling of the interior and not so mutch modern. Even if thats looks good too. But i want the feeling of a warm and cozy, with a lot of things and colors type of family home.

There are lots of options for old style warm and cozy homes, you can even filter them.
And with the colour wheel and texture/pattern options, you can make it even more homely

I like that carpet - is that a texture? I haven’t seen that in game so I assume it is custom? We are lacking patterned rugs, and I find it quite hard to create carpets that look realistic like this.
Yes, it’s a texture of an actual rug. It’s actually quite easy and quick to bring rugs ingame. I don’t even have to log out. I put the pic in my pattern folder and can apply it right while in build mode.
I love this feature also for clothes and wall deco, it’s so amazing.

I agree! Although there are already a few furniture pieces that are old european style, they are very few and lacking in a lot of the categories. Curtains is one of them: we need less modern, more detailed curtains. Built-in bookshelf and cuppoards are needed to.
More architectural elements in this style would also help create the cottage core / old european town style. Somebody already made a great post about the addition of trims, moldings and other building features that would help make houses look less “modern” here. There’s also a lack of archs and less modern looking windows and doors, particularly double doors (all of them are so modern they barely fit any building that isn’t a modern appartment).

Yeah, i like how we can import our very own textures to create custom cozy furniture. Unfotunatelly, a lot of the furniture have minimalist designs with sharp angles where cozy cottagecore is more about soft and sometimes even curved corners, so it’s a little harder to go for that cottagecore look (even with imported textures).
Then theres the problem of windowns and doors. So many different variatione of modern ractengular windows, but very minimal options for curved windows and doors. And also the fact we dont have wall moulding yet so our only options are to either create the wall moulding ourselves alomg with the wallpaper and upload this whole thing as a png or go without it (neither of which are really appealing to me tbh).
I’m hoping that in the future we’ll get more cottagecore options so my zois can live out my their fairytale princess dreams.
I just want my zoi to live in a stony, mossy castle on top of a hill and frolick around the rose mazes in a poofy dress after a tea party

Agreed, it would be good to have some more old-fashioned, classic items and decor so that we have more building options. At some point (when I get the hang of build mode properly!) I will want to make an old manor house or mansion (because I always do), and as things stand we don’t have the build mode items or furnishings to support this style.
This is early days though - my day-1 TS4 manor had to be massively overhauled eventually as there was finally enough content to realise my vision. I have hopes that the same will happen here!
