Romance Interactions Missing or Always Failing

(SmartZoi is turned ON, Settings are Ultra + Realistic Shadows/Lighting, World Map was Cahaya)

Started a new game with a married couple, but the married couple didn’t have advanced relationship options such as kiss or suggest a baby. This couple were adults and were True Loves and Best Friends.

To troubleshoot, I started a new game with single characters and tried to get them to flirt. No flirting options worked, and the Charm skill did not initiate. Furthermore, there were no books for Charm or Charm-based actions. This pair was teens and were up to BFF friendship level.

Someone suggested making new characters and double-checking the gender preference selections. I started a 3rd new game making sure I clicked the correct settings, but there was no change. This pair was teens.

These relationship actions ARE available for my married couple in my old save.

I will start a 4th new game with adults to test, however, even if I rule out the teen relationships as being turned off (my old save file they dated as teens), the original married couple should have had the advanced options. If the 2nd and 3rd saves are due to a hidden character preference, I’m not sure, but I don’t want to re-roll my game until they like each other just to get the flirting options to work. Also, the Charm Skill doesn’t seem to be active, at least for Teens. Not sure if this is by accident/bug or design.

This is actually NOT a bug after much torment. I figured it out! :exploding_head: Basically, when you create a zoi their gender and attraction gets set randomly regardless of their appearance. So you might make a female zoi, but her gender might be set to male. So she’ll strike out with all the hetero’s, lol.

Unless I’m not looking in the right place, this is not the case for me. If there is another place to check other than the ID card and the relationship tabs, please let me know! I also already went in and double checked the gender and gender preference section for the 3rd New Game start, and everything was set manually by me, no assuming it was clicked correctly.

This also doesn’t address the fact the Charm Skill is totally absent from the new games, either. (Though I didn’t double check the adult’s file if it’s just disabled for teens.)

Edit: Actually, the teen file aside, I just checked the 1st playthrough for the married couple, and the genders ARE incorrect. This at least explains the married couple not working XD.

Edit 2: Okay, I think this IS what it is, I just missed one of the things. I still don’t know why the Charm Skill isn’t showing up, but I can at least salvage the save files with edits/cheats. They should make that more obvious in the Create-a-Zoi UI and not hide it behind the edit/customize button if they are going to randomize it.
