Suggestion: Expand Building Lots (to the Street, over the Sidewalk & with Neighboring Plots)

Hello Inzoi Team and Community,

while playing I noticed that the current building lots often feel a bit limited. Especially when designing houses or larger properties, it would be very helpful if players could expand their building area more flexibly.

Expansion Ideas:

  • Build up to the street and over the sidewalk:
Houses and buildings should be able to extend right up to the sidewalk. It would also be exciting if we could build over the sidewalk – for example with balconies, canopies, bridges, or other architectural elements – while city residents can still walk along the sidewalk normally.

  • Expansion system with neighboring lots:
Players should have the option to purchase neighboring lots. When a neighboring lot is bought, the existing house on it would disappear, creating an empty building area. This way, players could expand their own property and design much larger and more individual projects.

Benefits:

  • More realistic properties: Houses and buildings connect directly to the street, just like in real cities.

  • Greater creative freedom: Driveways, garages, gardens, overbuilds, or even full property expansions become possible.

  • Livelier neighborhoods: Streets look more connected, and players can shape entire areas, making the city feel more authentic.

  • Long-term motivation: With the lot expansion system, players always have a goal to work towards, growing their dream houses and properties step by step.

I believe these features would open up many new possibilities for players and greatly enrich the variety of building in Inzoi.

Thank you for being so open to community feedback – it’s one of the things that makes Inzoi special! :raising_hands:

Oh, yes. :this: please!

I have several lots that look so weird because there is this green ‘belt’ around them I cannot build on.
I can’t even properly cover the roofs.

Also let us fully customize the sidewalks and remove the trees and lamps there.
When I want to take photos of the lot, they are often in the way.

What’s also super annoying is, when I just zoom a little bit out, the house vanishes -.-
Also the Zois when I’m a little bit farther away.
And sometimes trees from the lot next our our houses poke their branches in our rooms, so it would be nice if we could (re)move them too.

Yes, or that would be great if it came through. I completely agree with you, and it would also be great if we could buy the neighboring properties to add to our property.
