When starting a new game, I’d like to be able to choose whether to start in the city first or create a character first.
Some players might want to see which families live in the city, play with them first, or simply explore the city first. -
The lack of a character library system that allows players to assign characters to all cities is also inconvenient.
Currently, save files become incompatible with each update, forcing players to create a new town and start over from scratch. This is incredibly inconvenient.
If there were a way to save a family with all their inventory and achievements to the library and then relocate them to a new town, this would solve the compatibility issues that arise with each update.
To achieve this, the previously mentioned “enter the city first” feature should be added. -
Players should also be able to freely edit town lots. Currently, some lots are editable, but others are not.The inability to build houses on empty lots is particularly disappointing. Currently, players must move their families in before building houses and editing lots. However, some players prefer to build houses on empty lots first and create attractive real estate. However, with inzoi, you must first create a family to enter a city, and you must also move them to build a house on an empty lot. This is extremely inconvenient, restrictive, and inflexible. inzoi often seems to lack flexibility in its system.

I understand they’re planning to gradually increase the number of lots, but I’ve seen a post before that said, “Having neighbors close together can overload the system.”
So, I saw a post that said, “We’re considering making the interior of neighbors’ houses visible only when you visit them, and hiding them when you’re not.” I wholeheartedly agree with this. (The Sims 3 actually demonstrated this approach.) However, I haven’t seen any mention of this since then, so I’m curious if this approach is currently under review.
I completely agree with this, however the interior view changes are already in my game since the latest update - as in, you can’t see inside buildings until your Zoi enters them. It applies to shops and public buildings as well as residences.
They should however add an “enter” option. Sometimes my Zoi stop outside and I have to go back to the map to make them enter, since I can no longer click on a point inside.
Absolutely, it’s not working properly if you play using point-and-click. I have to zoom in through the roof of the building in order to click on a spot inside.
Yes this is what many players are asking for, Let us choose world first then decide if we want to build, play a NPC household or create a household ![]()
I agree. It shouldn’t be required to create a new Zoi automatically.
Here are two other threads who are related to this. Devs, please consider to merge them, so the topic gets the attention it actually deserves:
Please reconsider the way New Game works
Start Game From Map View
I noticed this this today and thought it was a glitch. I zoomed out far enough away from my active Zoi’s house to get an exterior picture. I was puzzled when all of the furniture disappeared. I could see my Zoi though. He was sleeping in his bed at the time, so he looked like he was floating in thin air.
Absolutely agree!
Would be perfect if we can quickly start the new game with a premade family from scratch.
Is there a way to get staff to notice these three posts should be merged?
I think they’ll merge it once they have time. Mentioning it once, like I did, should be enough ![]()
