The character creator is one of inZOI’s biggest strengths and a major reason many of us are drawn to the game.
However, there is one core limitation that significantly impacts the experience: presets currently apply to the entire face instead of individual features.
While sliders exist, they currently lack the precision and flexibility needed for efficient feature-level customization. It can take a significant amount of time to approximate a specific look, and even then, certain combinations are not achievable.
A structural improvement that would significantly strengthen CAZ:
Separate preset categories for
- Eyes
- Nose
- Lips / Mouth
- Face shape
This would
- Allow proper mixing and matching of features
- Increase diversity and realism
- Reduce creative friction
- Strengthen player attachment
This would also make the character creator system more scalable and modular for future content additions.
In a life simulation, attachment to your character is foundational. When players are able to create a character they truly connect with, the entire gameplay experience becomes much more meaningful and immersive.
I completely understand that the game is still in beta and I am not expecting this to be implemented immediately. However, knowing whether this is planned for the future — or if it is technically difficult — would already help a lot.
I genuinely care about inZOI’s long-term success, which is why I believe this improvement would have a meaningful impact. - ![]()
