I have a comment about the camera settings when switching from life mode to build mode. The image follows the last active sim, rather than staying on the last viewed room. In a situation where I want to make renovations on the ground floor but all sims are on the upper floor, the camera jumps to the room on the upper floor where the active sim is located, and I have to search for the place I want to renovate. This is additionally annoying because it causes the image to jump around and strains the eyes.
