Sending you warm greetings all the way from Istanbul! In this magical city, it’s not just people who want to say hello… the true owners of the streets—our beloved cats—are sending their love as well!
They also have a small but meaningful message for you:
“When will we be actively included in the game? When will Zois be able to adopt us and give us a home? Will players be able to become veterinarians and take care of us? And most importantly… when will we be able to freely roam around the Inzoi world, entering and leaving homes just like we do in real life?”
Including these unique creatures that carry the spirit of Istanbul would add incredible realism and emotional depth to the game. A world where players can interact with street animals would make Inzoi feel more alive, warm, and unforgettable.
We are truly excited to see this beautiful detail in the future of the game. Thank you for your amazing work!
Aww! Yes, inZOI should lean into the cats theming in productive ways. I would approve of a “pets” DLC that contributes to animal welfare groups. Just be careful, some groups (PETA comes to mind) are scams that actively harm animals in ways that don’t make them look corrupt and uneffective.
I also look forward to dogs in inZOI, both dogs and cats are so loving (even if we misinterpret a cat trying to parent us - without either side realizing we’re doing the same in reverse - as not loving us).
Everyone wants animals. But in my opinion, this really should be a DLC. That’s the only way to properly implement this feature in a sufficiently detailed manner. So we could have cats, dogs, horses, lizards, sheep and goats, and even spiders, snakes, musk oxen, and camels! If we add all of this to the base game, it would turn out very superficial. So it’s better to do it later, but with better quality.
