Bug: All Town Joy Characters Become Extremely Underweight with Weight Change Option Enabled

I am playing with the weight change option enabled in the game settings. However, after the latest update, all town Joy characters have become extremely thin. Regardless of what or how much they eat, or whether they exercise or not, their body shape keeps decreasing until their body fat reaches zero, as if they haven’t eaten for days.

This issue only affects the Joy families living in the town; NPCs are not affected. When the weight change option is enabled, all Joy characters lose body diversity and become extremely skinny.

Please investigate this bug as soon as possible and fix it so that body weight properly reflects exercise and the amount and type of food consumed.

Could you let me know if you are using any mods or custom content? Do these families have anything in common like traits or something on those lines?

Hopefully the devs will check this up soon!

I noticed the same phenomenon. I play without mods with several families and I specifically checked especially those characters who were chubby. They all became extremely emaciated after some time. Dynamic body weight and musculature is enabled.

I have suffered from this bug so much that I ended up making a mod to balance the calories and exercise system a little better. I do wish that it would be balanced officially so the mod is no longer needed. It’s extremely annoying.

A female zoi the only one in the family young adult created muscular and buff like a body builder “NO Mods” after she worked out to become a fitness expert she no longer looks like herself she is so skinny I’m sure you could see her cheekbones and ribs she was just a walking skeleton with skin and looked gross .. why is this physique change happening and how do you lose muscle from working out it makes no sense … Fix It Please!

I looked into this more and noticed that it’s possible for Zois to lose a whopping 22 units of weight a day. And the game seems to heavily skew towards unplayed Zois losing weight instead of gaining. The system is terribly unbalanced and really needs work.

Yes. I still have that problem too. All NPCs are thin, and there’s no way to make playable characters fat. Even after the birth of children, the female character is fit and athletic. Not a game, but a utopia.:grin:
