Dear inZOI Development Team
I am writing to report several critical interaction and animation bugs that have emerged following the recent updates. While my system maintains a stable frame rate, these mechanical and logic-based errors are significantly impacting the immersion and gameplay experience.
System Specifications:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 (4GB VRAM)
CPU: Intel Core i5-12450H
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 500GB NVMe SSD
Driver: Latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver (Clean install performed)
Identified Issues:
1. Severe Animation Desynchronization (Global Interactions)
The animation desync is no longer limited to gym equipment; it has become a widespread issue affecting social and object interactions:
Social Interactions: When attempting to dance with a partner, the Zois are completely out of sync, performing movements in different positions.
Physical Contact: When selecting the “Hug” interaction, instead of embracing, the Zois often glitch and move away from each other.
Object Physics: When playing with a basketball, the ball frequently hangs in the air (frozen) and only drops after a significant delay or by clicking the object to re-trigger the interaction.
Workout Equipment: The “attach” command for barbells remains delayed, causing the equipment to float or snap into place seconds late.
2. Broken Neighbor Interactions
Social gameplay with NPCs has become nearly impossible. Neighbors will approach and knock on the door, but the interaction prompts are either unresponsive or entirely missing. My Zoi is unable to engage with them, even when they are standing directly in front of the character.
3. Gameplay Regression & Impact
These issues were not present in previous builds. They appeared specifically after the most recent updates. These “script-based” logic errors are causing significant frustration, as they break the core social and life-simulation elements of the game.
Closing Remarks
I have dedicated a lot of time to optimizing my system to ensure inZOI runs smoothly, and while the performance is stable, these interaction bugs are discouraging to play through. I hope that the development team can prioritize a fix for these synchronization errors, perhaps as part of the transition to Unreal Engine 5.6, to restore the enjoyment of this beautiful world.
I have attached video evidence of these glitches occurring on my RTX 3050 system I look forward to your feedback and future patches.
