Date & Group Interaction Issues

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System: Windows 11 Pro | AMD Ryzen 7 7700 8-Core Processor (3.80 GHz) | Ram 48.0 GB (47.1 GB usable) | 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor | Storage 2.73 TB

  • Steps to Reproduce: Start a date or group and attempt to eat and ask to eat, visit Ora d’Oro restaurant on a date when scripted date interactions include a bench and move toward the bench on the boardwalk

  • Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.

I’m running into multiple issues with the current dating/social interaction system that seem more like bugs than intended behavior.

1) “Ask to Eat” is inconsistent

  • One Zoi starts eating immediately

  • The other doesn’t receive food or join

  • First Zoi then offers partially eaten food

  • Results in one character starving during a date

2) Scripted interactions fail based on location

  • Example: “Look at smartphone together” requires a bench

  • If the venue doesn’t have one (e.g., Ora d’Oro Restaurant), the interaction can’t be completed

  • Attempting to relocate breaks the interaction entirely (the pop-up window with scripted date actions disappears automatically when you move too far from the restaurant, and your date does not follow)

3) Date breaks when moving locations

  • If I move to find a valid object (like a bench), the other Zoi doesn’t follow

  • Moving too far removes all date interaction options

4) There is no trash bin inside Ora d’Oro Restaurant, so Zoi must walk outside to throw their food in the dumpster

Expected behavior:

  • Social/date interactions should be location-flexible or guide players to valid objects

  • Paired actions (e.g., eating) should execute synchronously

  • Date participants should follow or maintain interaction continuity when relocating

Right now, these issues make it difficult to complete basic date activities without breaking the system.
