I’m working on a medieval (style) tavern based on existing furniture, and I wish these features could be added in the future game to create more different flavours for business:
-
Most in-game furniture is modern style, like kiosks, drink dispensers, washing machines, refrigerators, blenders and electric ranges… In real life, many “acoustic” ways of living still work, electricity is not the only choice. More variations of furniture can make a bigger difference for different themed businesses.
For example, people can order on kiosks, but they can also order from a paper menu like Cahaya Menu Board Stand (it doesn’t count as a kiosk for now). People can cook with a modern kitchen, they can also take ingredients from wooden cabinets, cook on the stoves/fireplaces, or even campfires (with simple recipes).
People can use herbs and salves instead of a First Aid Kit to heal. There are many jar meshes in the vanilla game, I wanted to use them, but the change appearance function can only choose from mod furniture. The images show how I changed the Bartending Kit into a beer barrel mod. Hope one day we can use more detailed business furniture in different styles via the vanilla game. -
Custom uniforms for employees.
Imagine the uniforms are dyed to recognise different positions like Star Trek crews, or they can be dressed to create a themed cafe. There could be a special employee to attract tourists if there are mascot costumes in the future (like Go-Go Town!). -
More service variations.
I noticed there are tea sets in the vanilla game. Maybe different teas can be a certain service like the coffee mechanics. To me, the tarot cards, crystal ball and chessboard are interesting and visually flavoured, wish more special things to do in the future.
(I was making a medieval toilet :D)
