Our Zoi’s have very low traits and we can only choose 2. Instead we can use a new system. As you get older a screen to select +1 trait may appear. But in total you can have a maximum of 5-6 traits. I’m give an example from this system ; Let’s have the right to choose +1 trait at every birthday celebration.
Newborn ; It starts with only 1 trait.
Toddler ; The number of traits can remain the same or increase by 1 when celebrating a birthday with a cake.
Child ; It may have 2-3 traits.
Adolescent ; It may have 3-4 traits.
Teen ; It may have 4-5 traits.
Young Adult ; It may have 5-6 traits. “Final development” After the number of trait rights will no longer increase as the person gets older.
Great suggestions. I just thought about the lack of traits and related actions and interactions in the game. While we received cool new objects with nearly every update, the skills have barely changed at all. That’s a huge loss for the game’s depth in my opinion, because many interactions / actions already in our game could use a trait connected to them.
Thanks for compiling these many, lovely traits, my friend
Your opinion is very valuable to me. After Sims 3 my favorite life simulation game was born. I’ve decided to support Inzoi too. I hope have played a part in making the game better. And that my contribution continues to grow that would honor me.
Agree to 100%!! I think the current traits are so limited that it feels only half baked. There are so many traits missing which could make every Zoi to behave differently. At the moment there is not much personality with the current system.
As you mentioned Sims 3 @Mazikeen this is a very good starting point. To be honest I think this was the only life sim game so far where you really felt at least a little difference in the gameplay when your Sim had certain traits. Like I remember evil sims were scaring others and I will never forget one birthday party where I invited the Boss of the criminal career who had the evil trait, crazy and all other bad traits. She simply scared my guests away who ran out of the house to escape. Or there was also the unstable trait which made your sims feel depressed and even changed their traits permanently if they were not visiting a doctor within a certain timeframe. And many more…
And also I fully agree that we need more traits per Zoi. I like your suggestion adding 1 trait per birthday.
I agree! I’d love to see personalities develop over time. I also really like the traits you’ve listed, especially ‘compassionate’, ‘eccentric’, ‘cynical’ and ‘no sense of humour’. This would add so much to the game
I agree. By combining various characteristics, we should be able to create truly unique Zois in unexpected ways. Characteristics should have both advantages and disadvantages, and it wouldn’t be bad to have a feature where they automatically acquire characteristics based on their preferred actions.
This is really well thought out. Let’s just hope that the forum’s AI or a staff member takes a look at the threads here and takes note of the suggestions because Hope dies last. I’m happy to support this idea.
It’s all great, and I agree with that. But nobody dont said why they are needed in terms of game mechanics and, accordingly, gameplay. Therefore, I will add: Character traits should not only influence the reaction and behavior of the Zoi itself, but also influence certain skills. For example, a character trait adds some exclusive skill, action, interaction, etc. that is unique to that character trait. However, there should be a reverse system of penalties for the presence of one or another character trait.
In other words, a system of buffs and debuffs.
For example: A character trait is choleric.
Buffs: being in an aggressive state 1. Reducing energy expenditure. 2.Higher chance of blackmailing or persuading other Zois. 3. A new skill is fist fighting, where the outcome of a street fight with ordinary NPCs or police, etc. will depend on the skill increase.
Debuffs: 1. The dominant emotion is aggression or anger. Increased chance of transition from any state of emotion to aggression or anger. 2. In aggressive or angry emotions, the rate of increase in communication skills, empathy, etc. decreases. 3. In an angry or aggressive state, the progress of communication with other Zois deteriorates. You can also add uncontrolled profanity when communicating with other Zois.
And to develop each character trait in such a way that they are not just in the game. Availability for the sake of availability - I definitely won’t like it that way.
