it would be more convenient to access first person view directly with TAB without all the cheat procedure involved. it would also help new players know it exists

A first-person view definitely needs its own key, but please not TAB! TAB is currently bound to switching to a different camera that attaches to the character. I need this camera view too and I’m already used to switching cameras on TAB. So we need to come up with a separate key for the first-person view)

In many games, switching camera view is bound to the “V” key, it would be a great solution to bind it to that key as well. And of course, there needs to be the ability to assign keys yourself.

There’s no need to assign two different buttons for changing the view - that’s silly. Keep TAB as the button for switching. Just cycle through the views sequentially: third-person - first-person - back to third-person (the way almost all games do it).

Sequential — might not be to everyone’s liking. As an alternative — Ctrl+Tab — for a first-person view. That would make sense logically, and there’d be no need to memorize anything.
Although @leeloorussia’s option is also quite obvious, since in cars and boats this view is currently toggled through V. Only, in my opinion, this doesn’t quite work the same way with scooters, but I could be wrong. And then Ctrl+Tab should definitely lead to “first-person view”, without any speedometers in front of your eyes.

I completely agree! That’s a good option) I wouldn’t want all 3 camera views changing one after another on TAB, that would be tedious and inconvenient. For example, I’ll rarely use the first-person view, or maybe not use it at all, so it would be annoying to switch between these 3 positions with one key. And those who plan to use the first-person view often would definitely want to switch to it faster, rather than pressing the same button multiple times
