Hitting a zoi with the frying pan is literally not working, i keep hitting them and it’s not doing anything, it’s just going thru them.

Can confirm. This interaction isn’t working for me either. My zoi swings it and nothing happens.

From the info I had gathered the pan wasn’t meant to work yet or am I mistaken? Did the devs confirm that it’s supposed to break anything or hit other zois? :thinking:

Devs demonstrated the animation of hitting other zois on some videos, and moreover, I saw those animations on several playtests. So, I suppose it should work.

Maybe they didn’t include this feature in the update? :anguished_face: Oh well, my bandits can wait a bit longer. :slightly_smiling_face:

This is happening for me as well

  • updated steam, no mods, PC.
  • Updated, saved as a new file, tried a new save as file, nothing.
  • Tested in live mode by clicking the pan, clicking the zoi, with no interaction
  • Active wasd mode, no interaction
  • Active first person mode no interaction
  • Some times the pan switches to the left hand and they still swing with the right hand.
  • No animation, no reaction, none.
  • The ragdoll animation also pertains NPC vehicles driving and driving as a zoi yourself - no bad interactions come from this outside of accidents with cars. (So no jail time for instance)
  • Creators play testing showed the pan interaction, fighting and chaos that ensues when being hit with pan

The frying pan attack interaction is also broken for me too. Before the June 2026 v0.9.0 update it worked correctly. After the update, the frying pan passes through Zois and the new group fighting interaction can’t be triggered.

Yes! This feature with the frying pan no longer works as intended, although it was a lot of fun. I hope they fix it, but I saw that someone made a mod to keep it working.

Why? If you don’t buy it, it doesn’t interfere with the game in any way.

@LadyDianaDi I didn’t understand what you meant by your question. The pan was fun to use, so I’m interested in them fixing the issue — or giving back the option to use it —

The translation is apparently wrong, your suggestion sounded like you didn’t want the frying pan in the game :sweat_smile:
