If only cheats were more easier to use

Hello, I was setting up the homes in Dowan with my Zoi’s when I reached the part that would require cheats. Typing in cheats to get money was as easy as copying and pasting the cheat from the website into the game.

It wasn’t until i started adding the skills that it started to get a little tedious. Each adult Zoi can learn up to 20 skills, I generally tend to assign 5 to 10 skills to Zoi’s with usually 1 to 3 skills maxed out. I try to assign skills according to personalities, goals, aspirations, likes and dislikes and the current dynamics within the family. Please see example #1.

I want to give this Zoi:

  1. Gardening
  2. Housework
  3. Handiwork
  4. Cooking
  5. Swimming
  6. Charm
  7. Fitness

To do this I must copy the cheat: setSkillLevel [skill ID] [level] 7 times, find the ID used for each skill I want, paste that in, and then place the level I wish to raise it to. It is a constant back and forth between game, into website, back to game, and I have to do it 7 times for this one Zoi. I am uploading at least 10 families into Dowon, with each family featuring at least 4 Zois or more. Some zois have more skills then others, and some have less, it all depends on the zoi.

It would be nice if the cheats designed to help players set things up, didn’t make things so tedious. It is my wish that the cheats get moved in game. There are two options I would like to suggest. Two mods for the sims 4 was made:

  • MC Command Center by deaderpool
  • UI Cheats by weerbesu

I don’t know what is possible to implement for this game, MCCC covers pretty much every single cheat, making every cheat into a user friendly panel that you can quickly maneuver through to set up your sims skills, jobs, clubs, education, relationships with others in the world. All without having to look for codes or the nameID of a sim you want to add a friendly relation to. See example #2 below:

While UI Cheats is faster and easier, it only allows you to adjust things shown on your UI, skills, moods, money, relationships with people you already met, career advancements, needs, etc. It grants you instant access to cheats while in live mode by simply left clicking on the user interface you wish to adjust. See example #3 and #4 below:

It would be great if when we turn on the cheats in inzoi, using them to make changes to the different Zoi’s was as easy as this.

I agree. It’s not Sims 4. It should be similar to Sims 3. Sims 3 had NRAAS mods they were great.

This one of several reasons we need to see a multi-line cheats facility in the console. I’ve raised this as a wishlist item.

The actual typing in of the cheats can be a bit tedious - agreed. To save myself the effort, I made a sticky note with all my cheats. So whenever I want I can just copy and paste

Yes, Vibes, I have a cheat-list which I cut’n’paste from. However, I have a problem with RSI and mouse usage, so constantly moving to a specific spot in the cheat-list, selecting the correct cheat, then clicking “cut”, moving back to the cheat console, click there again, then finally “paste”. It’s better than typing everything out all the time, but it’s still a lot of mousework and stresses people with RSI. I just think it’d be simpler to enable multi-cheat entry. This could be separated by semi-colons, or newlines, it doesn’t matter what is chosen by the developers. It’s a simple thing to parse.
