Somewhere around “tens of thousands of persistent citizens with unique memories, routines, relationships and generated interiors,” this stopped being a wishlist item and became a request to politely dismantle inZOI and build a new game inside its coat.
Do we really need tens of thousands of citizens with persistent memories, generated homes, unique voices, financial histories, social-media activity and lifelong goals running simultaneously in the background?
Most players will meaningfully interact with only a small part of that population. At some point, the game would be simulating 20,000 complete personal lives so my Zoi can walk into a café and order a pastry.
Much of it would remain invisible while increasing hardware demands, bugs and development scope.
This feels less like identifying what inZOI actually needs and more like requesting every technically imaginable simulation feature at once.
I’m sorry, but this post feels like the remastered collection of all the other “Living World System” posts.
