I opened a business — my own restaurant. For some reason the game shows that I’m not ready to open the restaurant even though all the required objects are present on the lot. When I go into the build mode for the lot it shows that almost none of the objects are there except for the refrigerator. However if I take an object from the list and simply move it to another spot it then shows that all objects are present. All objects are placed correctly and Zoi has no trouble accessing them. Also when the chef takes an order he cooks the dish endlessly but never serves it. Could someone please advise has anyone else experienced this? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a solution to this problem?

We would also like to confirm your restaurant employee setup. To operate a restaurant, you need to have at least three employees assigned to the Chef, Host, and Server roles respectively.
Could you please check whether these three roles are properly assigned to your employees?

Something similar happened to me. I had all the items and yet it told me I couldn’t open it, but I was actually able to open it. There are still many errors. The workers don’t do their job well and get distracted a lot, and things don’t arrive. I’m still looking for a way to make it profitable.
I’ve also noticed that you can’t pay at the kiosk if you choose that option either. I think they need to review this business.

As for the staff setup: I have a Chef, a Server, a Host and a barista. I also assigned the cleaning duty to the Host in addition to her main role. Perhaps that might be what’s breaking the script.
Also my restaurant employees are unable to serve finished dishes to the bar counter or bar table — is this working as intended, or could it be a bug?

If you see a notification saying that your business is not ready to open, please try the following workaround:
Go to Edit Business Property and check whether all required business furniture has been placed. If any furniture that is already placed is still shown as “Placement Required,” try moving the required furniture to a different location. This should refresh the required furniture status and allow you to open the business without the notification.

Thank you very much. The business has all the furniture and I’ve even rearranged it and swapped it for other pieces on occasion. There are days when the business shows the opening time and days when it suddenly says it’s not ready. I think it’s a bug.
I’ve noticed that customers are leaving bad reviews for the restaurant, which is why it’s not progressing or making money, because according to them it doesn’t have everything necessary
and the speed of service when the workers have everything at maximum level. I’m not sure if the supposed lack required to open is related to the opinion guides generated
but in any case all the items are placed and the error keeps appearing even in a second restaurant
Another observation I’ve had is that the first one I bought already made had kitchen objects to clean appearing on the stovetop, but in the following ones these objects and actions have disappeared
