After the latest update, the high school exam is broken. In the first half of the lesson, students do not continue writing after filling out the first test sheet and sit doing nothing until the lunch break bell. In the second half — at 2:00 p.m., students do not sit at their desks and do not start writing. As a result, the exam is considered failed (not counted).

This is similar to my experience after the update as well, although my zoi didn’t fail the exam. You can no longer select the desk and start exam. I noticed after a period of time, all the students automatically sat for the exam and then when they were finished, they just sat at their desk until lunch or (Second period) end of school. I thought it was strange, so I switched to my other zoi from a different household/different class and those students were all just sitting there as well. They all did write the exam though.

I’ve also got a variant of the same issue. My Zois will take the first exam with no issue, but before the exam begins, as soon as the proctor enters the room, everyone freezes. Not as in game freeze; I can still control my playing zoi and can also interact with them, but no one will take the test resulting in grade loss for missing that exam. This issue has so far been consistent from one test day to the next.

I considered that maybe it was a problem with the proctor, but when I reset her, she had to re-enter the building before the exam could continue. Once she re-entered, one Zoi sat and pulled out the exam, but it wasn’t enough time for the entire classroom to do the same.

I just recalled my post to add that I’m playing in Bliss Bay.

I’m having exactly the same issue. I’m playing in Cahaya, and nobody moves until 3:12. Quitting the game, restarting it, or loading an earlier save doesn’t help either.

And I really hope nobody asks me, “What mods are you playing with?” because this issue definitely has nothing to do with mods.
