Mining and farming need more purpose

I love collecting things in games and the scuba diving in Inzoi is so fun and satisfying it made me want to collect everything. Mining and planting on the other hand, couldn’t bother. Every time I did it I quit at some point, meanwhile I normally love farming and mining.

You can’t craft with all the ores you can mine, only some to make gems out of which defeats the purpose of wanting to mine. For farming you can use the ingredients to make some dishes but it’s really not that cost efficient to farm instead of just buying the ingredients and you can’t unlock special dishes with the special crops. When it comes to planting flowers, would be nice to be able to be able to put the flowers you have grown in an empty vase from build mode so that it actually is useful to grow flowers.

I am not sure whether I find it very intuitive to mine and farm either. It’s something about the point and click aspect of it that doesn’t make it fun. Now that surfing has a minigame, could we possibly have farming and mining like it’s done in Palia? Hold a button to water the plants while being able to walk to the water each plant and wait for the next day in the morning for them to grow a bit and require water again. With mining, hold a button to hit with the pickaxe continuously to gather ore. I’d like to hear whether people feel the same.

There are very few dishes like the pumpkin pie, potato pie or mango rice where you actually need a potato, pumpkin or mango to even make it and there is the flower farming as well to craft bouquets, but I agree that it feels quite barebones. There should be more recipes for those or a better option to sell crops.

The market stalls are still not functioning properly as is, but I would love to see a weekly market, where we can bulk offer our crops with actual activity and people around Liberty Square per example (in Bliss Bay). It feels quite unrewarding as it is right now.

And since we have so many active control functions, I don’t see why we shouldn’t be able to water crops or mine like this. We can punch people now. Why not hold a watering can and walk manually while watering crops? xD

I agree with you that this has been put on hold. Now we can grow some things and mine, but they don’t make much sense. Joyería

We were talking here about how some things should be able to be used for businesses, like jewelry, in another post we talked about growing grapes to make wine and creating more prominent interactive objects. I also hope they’ll review this section again to give more life to what we already had implemented.
