I haven’t been able to play for the last few months. Could someone tell me if there is a way to turn off the mini games (e.g. surfing)?
I have a chronic illness, I’m not always able to do things like the mini games and if there isn’t currently a way to turn them off I’d like to make a request.
As far as I’m aware, no, there’s not an immediate option to turn off the surfing minigame (I can’t actually think of any other minigames that might already be in the game).
That being said, it’s not as if it is impossible to avoid having to play the minigame either. Before you can actually play the surfing minigame, your Zoi has to have a surfboard, has to go swimming, has to get onto that surfboard, has to get to the deep sea, and only then can they start surfing. And even if you start surfing and then don’t do anything, it’s still a nice animation just to watch it, until your Zoi falls off the board and autonomously has to crawl onto it again (and even while just watching the Zoi surf without trying to control anything, it only takes 3 surfing interactions to get from the residential side of Cahaya to the resort side).
Yes, I was just discussing this question today with several girls from the Russian-speaking community. It would be nice if all these mini-games could be disabled. I personally don’t mind them, but more often I would much prefer to watch the independent animation of my zoeas so I could comfortably take screenshots from different angles at that time, rather than having my hands occupied by pressing other keys.
