[ 0.10.4 ] Farming lots are full of INVISIBLE weeds...

      Windows 10 Professional / 22H2 / 19045.7548
      13th Gen Intel(R) Core i9-13900KF 3.00 GHz
      NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
      192 Gb Ram, 4TB NVmE with 2.2tb left.

    • Steps to Reproduce:
      Start a farm
      Plant stuff and wait for weeds
      Eventually you no longer see the weeds anymore,

You can click each of the lots, and you’ll see the option to pull weeds when you randomly click one that has weeds on them, but the visual cue disappears. I think it disappeared after about a day ?

Sorry I don’t know what causes this one, but it’s going to make farming my 200 lots a lot more annoying !

@Samuriko I had the same happening with one of my families. I was really surprised when my Zoi autonomously went to pull weeds as I was not seeing any weeds. This should be fixed. For a small garden you can check manually but for a real farm like in your screenshot this would be a nightmare.

UPDATE :

After a bit more testing, It seems the weeds become invisible if you go out of the property.
They were all showing,
Then I followed my Zoi to the resort pool,
when I came back all remaining weeds were invisible.

I hope this helps the dev team fix this one.

If someone could/would be willing to run a test to see if the problem persists after removing them, that would be really helpful :folded_hands:

Saved my game as a different name for testing…

ZERO Mods, Zero difference.
Fields are full of weeds, none is showing.
If I click a square, I do get the option to remove them.

Can I ask if you removed the mods? Or did you disable them? :distorted_face:

I disabled them. I don’t want to remove them, I use them for all my games.
If someone is still a mods virgin, try it then. I’m not deleting them.

If someone is still new to mods, try them out then.

I’m not sure the forum translated that well, it seems like a rather harsh response. Anyway, I was simply asking why, by not removing them (and only disabling them), the mods could still cause the issue. It certainly wasn’t to accuse you of doing anything wrong if you use them for InZOi or all your other games.

yeah my answer just said/meant if anyone is still playing without any mods, they could try it.

@Samuriko as already mentioned, I had the same issue after the September update. And I play without a single mod installed or active.

I really hope this gets looked into, because for my autumn gameplay I’d like to cultivate everything… and without invisible weeds :joy:
