after buying the premium restaurant (nana goreng) in cahaya and hiring workers, they all get stuck nearly every day at this spot while going to work:
you can replicate this behavior by starting a new save and moving into the air asri house in cahaya, buy the restaurant and set it up like it tells you. nearly every morning the picture is what happens and i have to manually unstick each zoi by starting a convo with them and then canceling it. that makes them at least go to work, where the rest of the restaurant has plenty of other issues.
i made this thread because although i see other complaints about the restaurant not working right, this specific cahaya routing i haven’t seen anyone else bring up.
I had that too, and knocking down the wall and rebuilding it from scratch helped me. That’s where the problem comes up though because the new wall won’t stand in the same spot anymore and I couldn’t find the same fencing, but it stopped getting stuck behind that motorcycle.
thats a good idea. i tried a bunch of stuff with this resteraunt update but honestly the whole update sucks and none of it works right. out of like 10 in-game days of trying i saw like 3 meals actually be served and work the way they should. the rest has been a mess. getting my workers to even arrive is the least of this updates issues lol. next time i load it up i’ll try demolishing that wall but i think its one of the bathrooms so i’ll have to redo that. aaagh
For me, this restaurant basically operates like a self-service bar. I chose a regular restaurant in the options. At first, I had terrible problems, and I even reported it as a bug. After upgrading to 3 stars and renovating the wall, it somehow started to work slowly, and I’m even making some money from it, but I only have one employee who makes coffee and cleans, because when he cooked the food was usually bad. My zoi is the head chef and manager and somehow manages to get by.
