I’m about to give up on the project because it seems impossible to take photos without these white lines appearing on the walls, floor, or ceiling. Does anyone know how to avoid it? I’m in the build studio and in photo mode. @VIBES ![]()

this takes a bit of practice but you need to make sure your cursor does not touch anything but it works easier when I pretend to take a picture of my Zoi. So in live mode I click on the camera and then take a picture of my room. Does that make sense? Am I explaining it correctly? I don’t build in Studio but I imagine it works the same.
Hey everyone
: If this is a problem for me, the other day in the photography studio the selection would get stuck in the middle of the photo, and as soon as you touch the “take photo” button it appears, I had to move the mannequins.
Thanks @VIBES I just tried it and if I don’t touch anything, nothing, from live mode it doesn’t happen
, we’ll practice ![]()
@RealmOfZoi I don’t build in that construction studio either, always from live mode to test the house with the zois as I build it.
In any case, please review this, it’s a game where we take a lot of photographs and we need to be able to deselect easily
, thank you.

Glad it helped you a bit too @juegaterapia ![]()

Only installing some object on the periphery of the frame will help here, so you can hover your cursor over that item to make the wall or floor selection disappear, and then move it aside, outside the frame.
Umm… unfortunately I can’t find solutions in Studio Build mode.
@Carnel, unfortunately the forum translation isn’t great, would you mind rephrasing the sentence differently so maybe I can translate it correctly?
This issue anyway didn’t happen a year ago, nor in February. I remember because I used to spend quite a bit of time in Studio Build before. It wasn’t complicated at all to take photos; and honestly this kind of issues, in a video game, are the ones that annoy me the most. If I’m doing well in Studio Build, why on earth should I be forced to go into live mode?! For this “nonsense”!?
Do I have to be stupid and not touch anything and just take photos with the framing that the game decides — otherwise I get white lines — and not me?! Plus, if the problem also exists in live mode I really don’t understand the point of how this photo mode was designed. I don’t know, it seems absurd to me. I’ll try Carnel’s suggestion as a last resort, otherwise I’ll be forced to use live mode… which anyway has some flaws, from what I gathered. I’m pretty sure I’ll report it as a bug, because even if it’s not a bug, it’s a big problem. If someone likes to take photos, they might as well give up. Anyway, thank you so much to everyone for your attention @VIBES @juegaterapia ![]()
I love taking in game pictures and have managed to take a lot of great pictures without the mentioned lines but it does require a bit of practice and patience. I guess the more you try, the better you’ll get. Thank you for your input @Carnel as my answer is maybe limited to live mode captures only ![]()
@VIBES I’ll give it a try. But I find the situation rather discouraging. I found a problem over such a small thing, when everything was working perfectly before ![]()
If it was working before and stopped working a certain way then could definitely make a bug report for it.
Here’s the thing: for the white lines to disappear from the walls, something else needs to be selected instead — for example, a door.
But then white lines will appear around it too. And when you move the cursor away from it — the wall or floor will get selected again. So you need to place some object at the very edge of the screen — where the virtual viewfinder boundary is — something other than the wall or floor itself. A door, a plant, a chair, a mannequin — anything but the wall or floor. Then if you move the mouse cursor away from this object in the direction that’s “off-screen” — beyond the edge marked by the white frame — the selection will correctly disappear from it, and neither the floor nor the wall will get selected.
All this work seems unnecessarily complicated to me when it should simply deselect everything as soon as I open photo mode. Anyway, thanks a lot, I’ll give it a try ![]()
