I would like to have a greater choice of rabbit hole careers with a clear indication when applying for a chosen job about what type of work it is. Having 6 Sims in my family, 4 working and 2 teenagers, I can’t manage them all at once.

Maybe it’s not just “more rabbit holes” — people actually want more active careers, and choice options for absolutely every career where it’s available: full-time work or rabbit hole.
So you choose the same “flower business,” but in “rabbit hole” mode Zoe goes to some “countryside flower shop,” not taking up any real spot in the city. She builds her career right there. But when switching jobs from “hole” to “active,” naturally, progress is lost — that is, it’s quitting the “hole” and starting as a beginner on the “open career,” and vice versa.
