I’d love to see more variety in meals and also group meals implemented in the game. Currently, children can’t make their own meals and therefore need to ask an older person to make one for them. Either that or you can set a table for group meals.
It would be way easier to be able to make group meals for your family. Maybe have the meals in the same menu as when you’re making one for yourself aswel. This way it’s easy to find and more organised.
There are currently 33 meals to cook which is quite impressive for an early access game imo 
And afaik, 6 of them are group meals (in the same menu):
Base Game: Fried Chicken, Pizza, 2x Cake and Steak
Island Getaway: Mango Sweet Rice and Banana Q
plus the Soup you can serve directly at the table by just clicking on it (the table)
Children can go to the fridge and pick from 7 diffrent dishes
Plus all the cooked meals can be put in the fridge and the kids can take them out
I’d love the ability to cook group meals for all the food options we have. Maybe we could have the option to choose how much we want to cook, single serving, 4 servings, or a family-size meal with 8 servings. It would make cooking for larger households so much easier! Larger meals would cost more ingredients as well.
@Nivyx Choosing how many we would like to cook would really be a great addition. E.g.for a small houshold you would probably like to cook only 4 while you would rather go for 8 for a big one.
Don’t forget how cumbersome it is to get everyone at the table and get food in front of them. You still have to manually call seat everyone, manually portion and serve, and when everyone has eaten you know they’re all going to try to clean up. One will go to the sink, the rest will throw their plates in the trash.
I mentioned this in another post somewhere, the idea of a Trap Card on the fridge to stop other Zois from taking out food when someone is already cooking a group meal, the interaction “Sit and Wait to be Served” and to prevent Zois that dislike cleaning from washing their dishes automatically. UGH and what is with Zois VAPORIZING all unattended food within 10 meters when they finish eating? That automatic cleanup needs to go away. I could have put that food in the fridge for later.
Group meals need a lot of work, but I believe this is on the radar so I’ll just wait and see.
Edit: The popup when a Zoi you sent to prepare a meal opens the fridge needs to pop up regardless of what Zoi you have selected, to prevent the Zoi you sent from just cooking whatever cause you got distracted or something.

This is really annoying. If you sent your Zoi to cook a group meal but had to shortly switch to another Zoi in between your Zoi ends up cooking some random single meal…
There are meals to share, but I think there should be more variety in this regard. I also think that cooking skill should be given a bit more importance. I mentioned this in another post. I don’t think a prepared meal should fill you up the same way as Chinese noodles, and higher quality food should give you more noticeable stats. With the arrival of restaurants, I think this would be important.
