Please give us the ability to lift any object vertically off the ground

Having the option to place any object anywhere even if its doesn’t slot onto the surface would enhance build mode’s capabilities by adding more flexibility. Some objects can only go on the ground (3d printed objects) but most times they would look better on a shelf or on top of the washing machine so having the ability to lift them up using keyboard keys would be much appreciated.
