More Lively Sea – Waterway Traffic and Activities

Hi Devs,

For the new water area of Cahaya, I’d like to suggest some ideas to make the waterways feel more lively and immersive:

  1. Player options

    • Add personal watercraft (jet skis) for players as the sea version of a bike, since currently we only have different boats options.

    • More recreational water activities, like banana boat rides.

  2. NPC traffic

    • NPC boats sailing along the sea.

    • Groups of NPCs riding personal watercraft, racing on fixed routes (with or without collision/hitbox).

I believe these additions would bring more life to the waterways, and make Cahaya even more enjoyable.

If we have NPC boats sailing around, can we have the possibility of boats crashing? It could result in fun interactions like:

  • Conflict with the owner the other boats, similar to when cars crash into each other.
  • Your rented boat being damage so you have to pay a fine.
  • If you crash at high speed, you could be sent “flying” into water.
