The current get-together and party system currently in the game is basic but seriously lacking. We can all agree that this system could be more robust. I believe having a DLC focusing on parties and celebrations would really kick things up a notch.
The new city that this DLC can introduce these elements would be inspired by Mexico City. The has stunning modern and colonial architecture, vibrant culture and a lively nightlife. This region has holds allot of cool celebrations throughout the year.
Your Zois can do shopping in the street, eat at various stalls and food trucks, or father in the many parks.
There can be major events being celebrated in the city per season such as:

Not just city wide events but personal events would be amped up and be more in depth.

It would be awesome to add a new active events career path. It can be split in two were one is the catering side and the other is the event planning side. The job site can be located in a large event hall. The catering portion will clean and set up food of the event. The event planning section would be to decorate the designated event space. A pop up of what the client would want along with their budget would appear for each event.
You can plan a quinceanera for your teen Zois or a kid friendly party for your children Zois. You can even hire entertainers from mascots to dancers.
