Dystopian, or Cyberpunk Gameplay

Maybe they release the fixes along with the October update and not in an extra patch?
But you’re right, there should be an announcement already for the update if it’s bound to be released in October.

Do we not have date yet for the update? We’re running out of October lol

I hope Kjun mentions it in tomorrow’s Feedback Response on discord :jack_o_lantern:

tbh, I’m not expecting anything at this point, there was a delay from May to June, then parts of the roadmap content went missing, and later it was confirmed that the roadmap was canceled. Great if they manage to release the final product. Early access is more about development than delivery.

True :sob:

But since Kjun announced all that Halloween stuff, they are bound to deliver or it gets embarrassing o.o Same with the December/christmas update and the little town/place he promised (that looked like a christmas themed one on the photo from the meetup) .

He also mentioned updates every three months, so I guess after the next two, it will remain like on the sneak peek from the old roadmap for March (reminds me that we still don’t have a new roadmap either, which was promised to us ‘very soon ‘ a month ago. . .) three months from March is June hm and in August is gamescom again. Otherwise we had updates in March, June, September, December, wich would be perfect for each season :cherry_blossom: :beach_with_umbrella: :fallen_leaf: :snowman:

Well, they’ll probably release it by the end of October, just assemble the build however it lands. Meanwhile, “some” teams plan roadmaps at least a full season ahead, and thanks to that you can schedule events week by week, pre-order, everything. In the game I’m working on (and 100+ people, NDA), we always launch events two weeks ahead of Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day/game “Birthday”, summer vacation, and people have been preparing for them for 10 years now and love it for that. FOMO is a terrible thing  But the inZOI Team should really sort that out.

Perhaps the concept of weeks of ‘pre’ festivities and preparing and decorating before the actual holy-day(s) is not as common in Korea as it is here, and they think the end of October/December is early enough? ö.Ö’

Winterfest in my calendar starts at the end of August, when the first gingerbread is available in our stores :christmas_tree:

Lol, I was gonna say, to be fair to them, spooky season starts in August in New England now

Well, they said they’re making the game for a Western audience, since their domestic market is small. So now it’s their concern. Still, I would’ve loved to see more of their culture too. Assuming they stick to even a single promise.

Saw this post on discord → here

Seemed like this? o_O Not super clear, but kinda feels like we gotta see it with our own eyes.

I’m glad something is coming back. Whether, or not, it’s better - I’m with the other poster that I’ll wait until it’s released. From the photos, it’s better than what we have now, but I’m not sure if it’s better than what we had. I’ll really have to play with it first.

They’re silly on Discord. Something was obviously taken away if it has to be brought back lol. I’m excited for this update though!

Yeah, I don’t love it if it’s just buildings with decals on them. It’s better than what we have now, but missing that grimey rundown feeling. Everything is still a little too shiny.

By that logic, a lot of things they chose to replace or remove should’ve been brought back. But you see, it doesn’t always work that way. Clearly not in my case. Here I remain with myself or even on opposition.

Hello, has anyone attempted to verify whether environmental degradation progresses over time in the save file where the slider has been set to minimum? I wonder if this could be the reason for the change: to allow us to see the progression of degradation.

Probably too complicated for the game right now. It seems like it’s been removed, but to be fair, I haven’t checked. Never filled my houses and I don’t want random families filling in, so I haven’t played.

Even if they’re perfecting / changing stuff, now isn’t the time to take away features.

If someone were to try it, or if some developer could enlighten me, I would appreciate it.

We’ll also quickly work on:
• restoring the lost Apocalypse Mode

I can’t look at the Discord thread, but I’m happy if this is coming back

man i was hoping we would get more functionality besides looks, i was hoping for lower karma for a rundown city and a higher crime rate, more rudeness, depression, zois prone to being negative the entire time due to their living situation

guess i can scratch my hopes :wilted_flower:
