Jennifer, Zayla and Bradley’s daughter has opened her cafe, Big Buns, and after only a couple of days has started to make a profit.
She was so successful that she had to hire a staff member. The first one would bake items and leave them for customers to take, for free. The next one never turned up for work, not even once, even though he was getting paid. The third one would get to work and then go home to spray freshener on her bed.
The forth person is an absolute star. She cleans, bakes and makes coffee. This is leading to happy customers and great reviews.

Today, Wesley and Vlad went for a walk along the shore - and found this bizarre scenery
(It’s even more bizarre when you know that there is no proper way for cars and trucks down to the beach ö.ö)

When Vlad returned to the Ryokan, he found Jeb, Jack and Ji Ho snuggled up by the fire.
With hot cocoa and the last remnants of the Winterfest cookies.

Despite the lack of a cake and not being able to blow out the candles, Mireille had a lovely birthday party. She is now a young adult.
At the party were her two brothers and best friends, plus quite a few other Zois who “crashed” it 
.
Mireille opened a couple of bottles of “sparkling grape juice”, danced with her friends who also sang her a birthday song and she was very happy.

I had mentioned in some posts Salvo Colombo, my Zoi who died several months (of real time) ago but who continued to send messages to his wife and children. One of his sons had even invited him to Piazza Liberty and he showed up (alive).
Now, after the latest update, he has appeared among the souls and (I believe it’s him), he is manifesting at home as a ghost, in the form of a little mist. His widow and children often appear worried.
Yesterday the new boyfriend of hers, coming home, found this painting, which appears to have been painted by the ghost, and which I find rather unsettling

In the first Episode of the New Year, the Boys had gone to the Tarot Shop to pick their new year’s resolutions and Ji Ho and Jack had the same:
‘It’s a good year for outdoor activities, so maybe I should go on a trip?’
So despite the cold, they went on a day trip to the faire.
They tried to win the cute dolphin thing but had no luck 
But since Jack is a Dokkaebi and they are super strong by default, he could at least show Ji Ho who the Hammer King is ^^’
Jack loves plushies and it was impossible to walk past the claw machine without trying, and by only spending 10 Meow, he managed to rescue the little plush turkey 
He also bought World of Warcraft team sweaters for him and Saiwa 
Saiwa couldn’t act up because his resolution from the Tarot shop was:
‘Showing kindness to others will bring even greater happiness in return’

Finally made enough MEW to buy a new house for my growing family.
I am running the “RobinRover Crazy Age Groups” mod to make my kids age really quick since I am trying to see how they look as adults, in prevision of family exporting later down the roadmap. I’ll pick the kids I liked the most from the game’s genetics (instead of designing 12 kids myself and going mad).
So I bought my old house, the first one I made for my family in Bliss Bay. Had solid foundation, but I lacked experience to really “make it look lively” back then, so I am working on it as well while working on the family.
After an uneventful night (where my youngest daughter (the one with the black dress) aged from toddler to Child, I cooked a large bunch of pancakes (LOVE the split in small portion thing!), set the table and woke everyone up.
So here’s a screenie of both my renovated kitchen, and my family eating at the table. I wanted a glass-top table like that, does not exist, suggestion made on forum… So went with a custom texture which look like a marble table… Meh, better than nothing !

The Boys visited the ‘Yuki No Saru’ Onsen in today’s episode!
Jeb’s grandmother Francine had sent them a voucher.
They thought it was for a japanese restaurant and the ‘Waiter’ was a bit surprised when Jack asked for ‘a table for six, please’ ^^’
(‘Yuki No Saru’ is japanese for Snow Monkey)
The Onsen is very old and has many stories to tell, some of them are written on the plates beneath the huge paintings.
Jack isn’t made for being all calm and quiet, so after soaking for a while, he challenged the others to the outside pool! But the water there was also warm 
I struggled a lot taking these pics and building the onsen with all the current issues and bugs, but looking at them now, it was totally worth it. I wish it were easier though.

Frans has become a young adult and decided to take a day of complete relaxation. School is finally over and he will take a gap year before looking for a job.
The Zois of Bliss Bay, like me 
, love the sea and frequent it even in winter, after all the temperatures are mild
Breakfast on the beach (the bread display is a resource, it’s a meal that fills you up much more than snacks and works everywhere).
The beauty of multitasking: Frans sees his friend Mireille, takes his tray and sits with her on the small sofa to chat.
And then a little nap in the hammock

The Boys were really hungry after visiting the Onsen.
Luckily Mr Fujiwara, the owner of the Onsen, has a cousin with a Ramen Shop 
So after drinking their healthy and refreshing grain beverage, they were on their way again.
The outside of the building was not very reassuring, but as soon as they entered, and saw - and smelled(!) - all the yummi food, they knew this was the right place to go.
Jack noticed each of the cute cat paitings resembled one of them and they had a good laugh.
TMI: I own these paintigs in RL too :3
Eventually the Ramen was served and they dug in.
(At least in my imagination. I hope eating on the floor will be finally possible with the promised feature where the arms move more independant from the posture!)

After a regular day of me, Samuriko, being on my third trimester for our 5th child (hoping to get our second boy), we turned all the lights off and closed the blinds…
Seeing it was getting late and everyone was tired, and snuggled next to the Hubby for a good recuperative night, if the baby could stop kicking for once… 
Around 2am, Tsuyoshi (the hubby) looks at me with a “shhhsssh” and his finger on his lips and grabs a crowbar.
Samuriko wakes-up properly and listens, strange sounds are coming from somewhere in the house…
Mixed noises like muffled music mixed in with some high-pitched metronome sounds.
Tsuyoshi moves stealthily down the house, figures the noise is coming from the gym/homework room.
He smiles… Thinking it’s probably a kid not getting the hint it’s time for bed, again.
He enters the room and finds one of our Babysitters sitting at one of the kid’s laptop working on some kind of music creation/recording software…
I didn’t know the hubby could swear this well in Korean !!! 
I heard a few thumps and more yelling and one babysitter yelping as she ran towards our front door.
I guess we won’t do business with this one again… We need to change these locks on the door methinks !

But then the excitement and stress of the intrusion triggered labor, so much for getting sleep this night !
