Details: I play on Tuesday, and I wanted a “Birthday” party on Sunday (which is technically a new week). I noticed the schedule event disappeared. This also happens with the swimming and singing classes which is always on Sunday. If you booked them on the “next week”, it disappears.
Are you sure the events aren’t getting canceled because you planned or accepted other events on the same day? Multiple scheduled events cannot be planned at the same time, at the moment, so they get overwritten frequently.
Like, for example, I kept accidentally overriding my Zois “Fitness Club” event because I was accepting invitations from other Zoi, or the Halloween “I Want Candy” event kept on popping up.
Another time, I accidentally overwrote an event by using the “Call Over” interaction, because that is an “event” too. Hopefully, that one will change once we get group systems.
No, my Sunday was fully empty, that’s why I knew something was wrong. It was always Sunday. But that bug of yours is also annoying. Why can’t it program is any empty available slots? Should be an update about yours.
Ah okay. Well, it’s the same way with the Sims. You can only have one scheduled event per day. I’m sure there’s a reason why, but if Inzoi can manage to make scheduling multiple events a day possible, that would be really cool.
I’d say if that is not possible, they should add a warning when an event will override a scheduled event of a Zoi in the household, listing which events will be removed or something.
If it is possible, maybe they could allow Zois to pick the time of events they get invited to, and the available timeslots would show up in a dropdown menu.
As for your issue, I hope they can fix that because that sounds really annoying to deal with. I’m gonna pay attention to my Zois’ schedules and see if the same happens.
@LazyTaco It is possible in INZOI because the schedule is set by hours, rather than day. Like Sims 4, it is Sunday…Monday… mean while Inzoi schedule is Sunday 9AM-12AM (more detailed cause you can have two events on the same day, as long the hours don’t overlap, like you said). Easy way is the game auto programs to fit into an EMPTY SLOT first if possible, if not. Like you suggest, a warning to replace the old event.

Yeah, but I’m not really sure what causes the overwriting with certain events, though, because I’ve never seen two invitation-events placed on the same day, even when they’re at different times. I could be mistaken, though.

I don’t use Smart zoi. I would say in general when the event is slotted on a Sunday. If it is in the middle of the week, it is fine. Except for LazyTaco, their ones gets overrides and removed. Me and Lazy Taco got different bugs, but it is to do with schedules being deleted.
