I just wanted to second that I encountered this bug also just now; thankful to LennyOgg for the fix!

I have also encountered this bug, it doesn’t matter which custom object, after 1-2 uses they all become just objects. Cannot select them, cannot delete in build (unless i take out the floor or use a wall as @LennyOgg suggested.) Hope this can be fixed, love the custom furniture option!

Ouf yes, that’s also a very old bug that never got fixed. My workaround is to go to build mode, draw a wall through the furniture and then I click on the ‘undo’ icon. After switching back to live mode, the furniture is useable again (at least until the next session, that is ö.Ö’) Edit: If you wa…

Good idea, thank you! I did this with a computer that was placed on a desk — I removed the desk and bought the computer again — but I didn’t think about doing the same with the wall, haha.

I just discovered this bug as well - it happens every time I reload the game. Very annoying if you have several items of custom furniture.

Regarding the non-deletable furniture, there is maybe a way to delete it when you draw a wall through them.
