My sim will age up soon, and he was working on an ambition for swimming. It’s a difficult ambition—you need to attend swimming lessons three times (they happen once a week) and then win three swimming competitions (competitions also happen once a week on Sundays). And now Sunday came, but the competitions disappeared from the schedule! 
I don’t know why this happened. In this thread, many people write that the schedule can be broken by some game event like a party invitation or a nostalgia visit. Maybe that’s what broke my schedule, but I’m not sure. When I saw that the competitions were gone from the schedule, I decided to try signing up again, but my sim can only sign up for bodybuilding competitions.
This upsets me a lot. My sim will age up soon, and he might not have time to complete this ambition 
Please, please, please fix this error as soon as possible!

I’ve been having the same problem with my Zois. Every time I try to schedule an event, it doesn’t show in the organizer’s calendar. It started to happen when one Zoi began to live in the same household with my Zoi.
I tried to schedule their marriage, and every time I try to, the event only shows in the calendar of one of them, which makes it impossible to play as the scripted actions don’t show.
To add some more info, my Zoi owns a bakery, and from what I’ve read before, it might be one of the reasons this bug happens. This Zoi, who owns the bakery, is the one who doesn’t have the scheduled events appearing in the calendar, even though it might be the one who organizes the event.
I hope this will be fixed soon, as it’s very annoying not to be able to schedule events . I stopped playing the game until it’s fixed, hopefully soon
