Some objects/clothes show the pattern upside down
I’ve noticed this with bedding as well. You can’t flip it the right way up.
Cute mugs though.
I don’t remember which bed it was, though I think it was a single. But it was the pillow that was the problem, not the duvet cover. I had it happen a few times, and I would get around it by making the pillows a matching colour.
I’ve also encountered this issue; it seems to be a bug introduced by the game update. 
The once orderly patterns are now misaligned and inverted.
There is a solution, copy the image and rotate or flip it, then upload the new image.
If the image is one you generated in game with that ai generator and you can’t access the image file, upload an item with the image to canvas then go on google canvas, view the item, scroll down right click the texture icon, save and now you can edit it 
This image only shows the comforter, when you add texture or pattern to some liners it’s sideways, and some pillows are upside down.
That dark pattern bug has prevented me from making new picture frames, if you copy the item will not be dark until you edit any part of it trying to make colors matchup to the texture or exiting to play mode. It is very buggy, some items stay normal and some become dark in play mode.
