When saving lot, city view instead of lot pic shows up

It only ever happened with The Air Asri House in Cahaya, but now also with the Aram Estate Property in Dowon, that there is a picture of the city instead of the house when I want to save the property.

Sometimes it shows the lot correctly, I have no idea what causes this

(fully update, old save, no mods)

I noticed the same thing this morning in Bliss Bay (19 Beachfront Drive). My lot was just an empty space however, I checked my lot from top to bottom and noticed the kitchen counters needed to be refurbished
I have no idea if it’s related or not but after I refurbished/replaced the counters and tried to save my lot again - it showed as normal.

I’m playing at a very slow pace so we hadn’t any furniture to be refurbished yet, when does this usually happen?

I have been playing over several days as I build and playtest as I go so I don’t really know - it might just depend also on how much you use a certain area (just guessing) …

Have you tried saving again afterwards, maybe even restart the game and try again…?

Yes, this happens already for a few weeks, as you can see in the second screenshot, sometimes it shows the lot, but more often the city view (for the same lot).

Oh alright, I only noticed it the first time today. So it works on/off at the moment. Gotcha :+1::two_hearts:

For the lot in Dowon I noticed it for the first time today too and I’m building and saving this lot for months.
It’s one of the first lots I’ve build in inZOI right after EA release and I always had the lot view and today for the first time the city view.

It has happened to me too over the last two months, on different lots.
What worked as a temporary workaround was:

  1. Save the preset even if the city view shows up instead of the lot picture.
  2. Delete the affected lot.
  3. Reinstall the preset you just saved.
  4. Try saving again — in most cases the correct house thumbnail appears.

If it doesn’t work immediately, switching to another loading screen or repeating the process can sometimes help. This workaround has solved the issue a few times since October.

Hopefully this helps others until an official fix is released.

Had this happen for the first time today (that I noticed).
Minor, but I hope gonna get fixed soon(ish) nonetheless.
