"From Anticipating a Date" Buffs Won't Permanently Go Away

  • Mods: Removed (issue occurred even with all mod files removed and mods disabled)

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…):

    • Windows 11 Home 24H2, Intel Core i7-12650H 2.70 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, 8 GB VRAM, 32 GB RAM 4800 MT/s, 1 TB Storage

  • Issue Date: since June 13, 2025 (I don’t know if the issue would’ve occurred before then because I never had a Zoi go on a date until after that patch)

  • Details: The buffs that Zois obtain from “Anticipating a Date” persist or periodically return every day for the rest of a Zoi’s life.

    • My Zoi planned a date with another Zoi and got the “Honestly, Not Feeling It” date buff while waiting for the date time to arrive. Ever since that date, the buff has persisted or returned periodically, every single day, and randomly affects her mood. She got married, had a kid, and her husband died, and (in-game weeks later, with no other dates) she was still Lethargic over that very first date.
    • After her first husband died, she finally went on another date with another man, and she got the “It’s Going to Be Amazing!” date buff. The same thing happened. In-game weeks later, even after moving on to a whole new life stage and going on no other dates, she still has the buff.
    • Now she has both buffs randomly affecting her mood every day. They won’t permanently go away, no matter what I do.

  • Steps to Reproduce the Issue:

  1. Plan a Date with a Zoi (for me, it was dates with Zois that were not in the household)
  2. Set the date’s start time to a time distant from the current time
  3. Wait for the “Honestly, Not Feeling it” or “It’s Going to Be Amazing!” Buffs to appear on your Zoi
  4. After the date ends, you’ll see that the buff does not go away
  5. If it does go away, keep playing, and it will return after a few in-game hours to a day. This will happen periodically on your Zoi for the rest of their life.

Hi @AR_Noah , I saw this was given the “Under Investigation” tag, but it was never added to the Known Issues list. I’m not sure if it makes a difference, but I’d like to confirm if this issue is being looked into or not, please.
