- Maybe recreate personality like this:
Zois are ready to spend their last penny on donations (Donate to the Local Community 75 Meow etc.). Moreover, these actions are almost impossible to undo, which leaves budget management unsustainable. Where does their eagerness to join the ranks of top donors come from?
The same applies to constant autonomous cooking from the fridge while the table is already full of dishes.
UPD Not all game conditions allow having lots of money, for example Crime Trigger, and yet Materialistic Zois should be able to live within their means. Although it seems that traits are not taken into account during autonomous behavior.
UPD2 hoho, another Zoi has already joined the ranks on her own. She’s nuts. Do personality traits and the SmartZoi prompt really have no influence at all?
Uh‑huh, IDEAL personality for donor. You can’t find better Malicious-Rulebreaker-Notorious-Villain-Rule-Abiding donor in the world. Simulation in this game blows my mind.

Dear devs, is this really a simulation or adaptive behavior? Looks like fast food causes addiction not only IRL.
Roughly: I’m at a diner. I can order food here. I don’t want to eat. But who am I? The algorithm tells me that as long as I’m here, I’ll be ordering food.

yes zois will not eat already made food, and the food won’t spoil if it’s been left out more than a ingame day.

I have Smart Zoi turned off and this still happens in my saves. They constantly cook when there’s already food made, or buying food when they’ve just eaten. Prepare food, set it down, clap and go back to fridge to make something else. When zois go to any scheduled event, all they do is buy food over and over again.
It’s not budget sustainable.

Sadly, yes, that’s what they do even without Smart Zoi. Someone will wake up and decide they’d rather cook their own bad quality tower of pancakes, when there is a perfect quality steak on the table. Even if they like meat.
Works with guests too. They’ll suddenly go and grab some chinese fried noodles from my fridge, when there’s a perfect quality group serving of steamed fish on the table.

Hi. Could you please tell me where I should look for updates on these issues, and if there’s another thread, maybe this one should be merged or closed? Should I check Known Issues? Or is this a feature, with the tweaks planned as part of the detailed autonomy control update in April, or the full simulation revision by summer?

ive reported this as well and theyve asked me to make a video of it lol it gets to the point where zois do nothing but cook clean and make donations this really needs to be a high pritority fix

I just wanted to add this screenshot because my zois (accross all saves, male, female, adult, elder or teenager) keep making themselves food only to immediately place the food on whatever surface and make themselves a second meal. Luckily they do eat the second one (mostly, some even need a third try) but it’s driving me insane 
Agree with the constantly brushing teeth or showering when their needs are not depleted. I think that is the general experience of players since the December update (I’m not even using smart zoi).

This matter of donations is also present in the 5.6 Engine. An automatic action that not only makes managing assets difficult but also ruins immersion because it is clearly random.
