Error Message: The loading wheel is spinning after giving a prompt, but nothing happens. (There is no specific error message)
- Details:
Hello everyone!
This issue occurred to me a long time ago, maybe even before the August update, but I am not quite sure.
There is an AI texture generator for the game, which you can use for clothes and furniture. After I got the game at launch I used it pretty often, it was working fine. But then after a few months it stopped working completely. I can upload my own textures and I can download stuff from Canvas but I can’t use the AI generator itself.
If I write anything, a long prompt or just a word, the “loading wheel” just spins and nothing happens. There are even times when the game just freezes and I have to force-close it in the task manager.
I tried to…, but it didn’t help:
-
set the game’s settings to the lowest, (I thought maybe it has to process too much when it’s on higher settings?)
-
remove all custom textures
-
remove mods
-
clear cache
-
reinstall the game
-
update CPU, GPU, Windows
(I didn’t seek help until now because I thought I could survive without this AI feature, but I can’t haha.)
Thank you in advance for the help!
Edit:
Since I made my post these are the things I tried:
Antivirus program
First, I added InZoi to the “exceptions list”, but it didn’t work. Then I tried completely turning it off, but unfortunately, that didn’t work either. (I tried out a few prompts such as “flower” and “bee”, both in build mode and in character creation)
I also tried to remove everything inside the

folders, but they were not the root of the problem.
I’m not sure if it’s useful info or not, but I opened Windows Task Manager while trying to generate an AI texture in the Charachter Studio:
(These are all info about the game itself, not the PC as a whole)
Memory
-
Attempt:
Starting around: 13700-800 MB
Generating AI texture: reaching around 16700 MB
Generation stops (it takes me back to the screen I started the generation on): Dropping back to ~15800 MB for a while, then returns to the starting point -
Attempt:
Starting around: 4500 MB
Generating AI texture: reaching around 8000 MB
Generation stops: Dropping back to ~6000 MB for a while, then returns to the starting point
CPU
-
Attempt:
Normally: around 1-5%, with occasional spikes to ~10%, reaching maximum 15%
Generating AI texture: reaching maximum 16%Generation stops: Back to normal
I can hear my PC making the typical “working hard on something” sound (fans spinning up), so it clearly starts the process itself, just can’t finish it/fails.
