Mixed drinks are not autonomously stocked into market stands (Business)

• Steps to Reproduce: Try to use the “Stock your Market items” option on the Mixer while on your business property. When used with baking or cooking the Zoi then autonomously puts the prepared item into the market stand, when used with the Mixer the Zoi puts the drink down somewhere on a table.

• Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.

  When owning a business and you try to use the “Stock your Market items” option on the Mixer the prepared drink is placed somewhere on a table instead directly into the market stand. I would expect the same behavior as for baked or cooked goods: the Zoi autonomously puts the prepared item into the market stand.

• UPDATE: I did this 15 times now and for whatever reason it worked like expected 1 single time and 14 times it went like described below.

• I used this option to prepare the drink:

• After preparing the drink she put it down here on the table instead of placing it directly into the market stand (I mixed several drinks in a row using this option and she always did the same):

• So to then stock your market stand it is a very annoying operation as you have first to click every single drink and put into the bag:

• Then - as you unfortunately cannot perform direct actions on items in your inventory and the game is also not recognizing that you have stockable items in your inventory - you have to take out every single drink one by one:

• Then wait until the Zoi is holding it in his hand and only then you can click on the market stand to put it on display for sales. And you have to repeat and repeat this whole process for every single drink:

• I don`t think this is intended and would appreciate if this is fixed as it is very annoying to operate that way.

Completely agree. Preparing any consumable items on our business lot gets repetetive and simply annoying quickly. Plus, I haven’t figured out how the game is even meant to “refill stock” at all.
In your pictures, you chose one shelf for the drinks. I know we can mix all of this, e.g. 2x drinks, 1x coffee, 1x pancake. That’s really weird for me though, because sometimes (if the refill option works as intended) my Zois fill up whatever space is available. Shouldn’t the Zois have some concept of where to put which category of item though? How can they “refill”, if they don’t know how many of each product we want?

I don´t think they know where to refill what. They just take any free spot as you said. Only if you cook a group meal and then put into your bag, then take it out again and hold it: you can say devide into portions and put on sale when clicking on the market stall. That way you at least have all 4 of the same kind in one market stand. But there does not seem to be a system that you could tell the Zoi to put something always in the same spot.

That’s annoying! Every now and then, at my other business, my zoi fails to bring the market items to the display case at the cafe, and I have to click the display case and select to put the item on display for sale. Right now, as a workaround, you might try pausing as soon as your zoi finishes the drink, then manually guide them to put the drink in the case for sale.

I hope it will help! Even with pausing, it is going to save you a lot of time than the inventory hassle.

Thanks @Starwing Yes, this works. You just have to catch the Zoi in the right moment before they have walked to far to put in down. But you are right it saves time compared with the inventory hussle. Nevertheless I really hope they fix it as it is hard to micromanage it that way, especially if you have more then one Zoi to take care of.

Absolutely!

Right now, I only one zoi I can control, but I’m going to start a family-run business in one of my games, so I will have the ability and necessity to control multiple zois in the workplace.

I have fun playing with businesses, but this definitely needs a fix ASAP.

Fixed an issue where selecting “Refill Fruit Beverages” while not open for business did not immediately place the item on the sales display
