i was wondering if anyone else is having issues with the npcs, instead of buying the food on the stand they’re actually going behind the counter cooking their own food/coffee. ive opened my own cafe, and i cant figure out what to do… im also having issues with my eployees selling bad quality products.
My cafe has doors to the kitchen that are set up only for employees, so I haven’t encountered this. But I can recommend where to look) Check what recommended actions you have set for visitors. If they have “eat food” or “drink coffee”, then they will use the kitchen instead of buying. Don’t worry about eating and drinking. If you serve food in small portions, they’ll automatically eat it after purchasing. And they’ll automatically drink coffee after purchasing. Regarding product quality, it will depend on the skill level of your employees. In this case, you need baking, cooking and coffee art skills. Even if you don’t train them (although you can), they’ll still improve over time))
As Kitty wrote, what visitors are allowed to do depends on the settings.
But what I’ve noticed is that despite level 10 in cooking and barista, prices vary and the quality is sometimes poor, despite max level. And the selling prices of the food displayed in the market stalls don’t always correspond to the actual prices. In the meantime, I could hire more staff and there is no shortage of visitors.
About the visitors: There are NPCs who go straight to the sink in the kitchen area to wash their teeth or hands, as my cafe does not have a separate kitchen area.
Funnily enough, from time to time an NPC wearing a face mask and yellow work clothes comes into my Le Petit Cafe in Dowon, throws fruit juices in the trash can, and runs out of the cafe again

The helpful NPC wearing a face mask and yellow work clothes was back at the Le Petit Café, disposing of the “trash” free of charge. He always stays only briefly to clean up
