Is it possible to operate theme park attractions outside the park?

I was renovating the beach area in front of the Beach Volleyball court and wanted to place a Park attraction for children. I have enough space for one of the rides, but once placed it’s only decorative, there’s no way to make it work.

Has anyone tried this?

I tried too - in vain.
Nothing works when placed from the build menu (same with the food trucks :sob: )
