It would be a massive help if we could get an actual online guide/wiki, not one that is just in game via the psycat guide. Even better have it user powered (maybe like how Wikipedia works). There is a lot of features in the game and sometimes I want to look something up without having to open up the game.
I would like for an online wiki to have for example
the function of each HUD/UI component
what the thought bubble icons means
the impact of certain actions or events (eg: Zois automatically being removed from university when they reach a certain age group, which really shouldn’t even be a thing).
Understandably the game is still in development so some features change and new ones get added and the devs may be waiting to create something closer to release but since the devs haven’t mentioned anything I assume this is just not something they are aware is needed.
Hi. I fully support this proposal. I often forced to look for different information about inZOI gameplay in different third-party sources.
I think the most effective way to implement the idea of an encyclopedia - is add new category at inZOI Forum - “inZOI-wiki”, “Guide for everything at inZOI” or something like this.
Currently we have category “Tips & Guides”. At first it’s not convenient - the topics are published in a long, endless list that needs to be scrolled through. At second this category consists of a mix of guides, bugs, tips, and just comments to the game.
We need a structured library with many internal categories and sections, arranged in alphabetical or other convenient order. As said @Luna_H , like Wikipedia. So that everything in this library of guides is divided into internal categories, and we can find a detailed guide on any topic quickly and easily.
For example:
What emotions do the Zois have, and what actions can trigger these emotions?
What traits do the Zois get along well with, and which ones will they always quarrel with?
…how do I change a baby’s diaper? …What is the meaning of life?
