Every NPC at the beach is wearing the same swimsuit

Seriously, why is every NPC on the beach in my game wearing the same swimsuit? Women wear the black bikini with the same hat and sandals; and men are wearing the same red trunks. Is this happening to anyone else, or could it be something caused by my mods? I don’t have too many, but I do have some custom swimsuits for both men and women. If it’s not just me, and this is indeed a bug, please fix it! Sorry, but It’s annoying and even boring to see everyone on the beach using the same swimwear. If this is caused by a mod, I apologize in advance. If not, I look forward to your valuable help in correcting this, thank you.

You’re aware that you’re in the matrix, right? There’s a clone factory there

If seriously, I noticed this feature of optimizing in the game. But the longer my Zoi stayed sitting in one place, the more various the NPCs’ outfits were

What’s the problem with same outfits?? Does it stop you from playing?

You play in matrix! Doesn’t this fact scare you?!

Believe me, my zois stayed at the beach for a long time, the “cloned” outfits kept coming. This is not a gamebreaker, that’s for sure, but like I said, it’s annoying, not realistic and, at least for me, it ruins the immersion (and mi pics as a storyteller). Also, I can see your NPCs have indeed more variety of outfits, maybe this is not a bug but something that’s happening only in my game? I’ll have to double check. Thank you for your reply!

PS: I loled at the matrix thing! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

As you can see from my screenshots, The NPCs in my game also sometimes wear same swimsuits too.

Moreover, I see not only the same swimsuits on the beach, but also the same outfits of NPCs in the city. And I sometimes see the same NPCs with the same faces, who walking nearby to each other at the same time. Although population and variety of the population in the city settings are on Maximum at my game, & population capacity in the settings (simulation category) is 200.

Try to check the city settings, population, and population variability.
& check settings simulation category, families capacity.

+ I think the GPU’s power, the number of CPU cores & CPU’s frequency, and the RAM size greatly affect on the game’s optimization performance
My PC has: RTX 5060 8GB, AMD Ryzen 5 7500F (6 cores), RAM 32GB DDR5-6000.
I set Maximum population. But “family capacity” to 200 (default value 100).
inZOI workload 99% GPU, 60% CPU and 22GB RAM (of 32GB; or 69%). & I often see NPC with same outfits!:backhand_index_pointing_up:

inZOI is in development and in early access. Poorly optimized games are hard workload the CPU and RAM

Thank you very much for your suggestions @n0mercygames I definitely need to check those settings. Truth be told, I’ve been so focused on trying to make the graphics look fine that I completely forgot about the overall game performance. I’ll look into it and change some values, if necessary, to see if that helps reduce the number of repeated outfits or at least makes the swimsuits cloning less frequent.
Thanks again for your kind advice and have a nice evening (or day).
