  CRITICAL BUG REPORT – Wedding Event, Relationship Desync & Savegame Loss

  Severity: Game-breaking / Progress loss

  Summary

  After planning a wedding, my save file became completely desynchronized.
  Relationship states, calendars, events, interactions, and even ambient behavior broke simultaneously.
  Additionally, all saves prior to the engagement and wedding were automatically deleted, making recovery impossible.

  This resulted in total loss of my game progress.

  Steps to Reproduce (as accurately as possible)

  1. Two Zois were in a romantic relationship.

  2. Female Zoi initiated the marriage proposal
     (Question: Can proposals also be initiated by the NPC partner?)

  3. Female Zoi used the interaction “Plan Wedding Together”.

  4. Wedding was scheduled.

  ---

  What went wrong (chronological):

  Calendar & Event Issues

  • The wedding only appeared in the male Zoi’s calendar,
    not in the female Zoi’s calendar, even though she initiated the planning.

  • This pattern already existed before:
    all dates and events appeared only in his calendar, never in hers.

  • On the wedding day:

    • The bride did not appear at the wedding

    • The groom appeared alone

    • The wedding still resolved automatically

  • The groom was already marked as “married” BEFORE the wedding took place
    (visible in his profile/emotion panel).

  Outfits & Immersion

  • Wedding outfits were planned.

  • Groom appeared in everyday clothes (jeans, sweater, sneakers).

  • No ceremony, no proper event flow.

  Housing & Location Bugs

  • Before moving in together, the groom frequently showed:
    “Currently not in the city”, despite being active in the world.

  • He clearly had independent city routines, not tied to the household.

  • After moving in:

    • Groom still had the interaction “Go to new home”, even though he already lived there.

  • At some point, the two Zois became married automatically without my input.

  • It is unclear how or when the marriage was finalized.

  • Zois suddenly act weird: just do household everytime; he wanted to take a bath, even though he just showered. Autonomy crashed completely.

  ---

  Relationship Desynchronization

  • Relationship panel:

    • Both Zois appear as family / married

  • Zoi info panels:

    • Both still show “Single”

  • Romantic interactions:

    • Female Zoi suddenly had only ONE romantic interaction left

    • Male Zoi had NO romance menu at all (Romance category disappeared completely)

  ---

  Ambient / “Ghost-like” Behavior

  Inside the home:

  • Refrigerator door opening without interaction

  • Chairs moving without anyone sitting

  • Water taps turning on/off
    These effects occurred repeatedly and without context.

  ---

  Savegame Loss (Most Critical Issue)

  • ALL saves before the engagement and wedding are gone

  • Autosaves and manual saves prior to these events were automatically deleted

  • No possibility to roll back

  • The save file is irreversibly corrupted

  This is data loss, not just a gameplay bug.

  Expected Result

  • Wedding appears in both Zois’ calendars

  • Both Zois appear at the event

  • Relationship state changes only after a successful event

  • Wedding outfits applied correctly

  • Relationship status consistent across:

    • Profile

    • Relationship panel

    • Interactions

  • No loss of previous save files

  ---

  Actual Result

  • Event desync

  • Relationship state contradictions

  • Missing interactions

  • Ambient chaos

  • Complete loss of previous saves

  • Game state cannot be recovered

  ---

  Impact

  This is the lowest point of my experience with INZOI.
  The game became unplayable, my story was destroyed, and my progress is permanently lost.

  Until these issues are fixed, I cannot continue playing.

  Additional Notes

  • This feels like a regression: weddings seemed functional before.

  • The issue appears to involve:

    • Calendar system

    • Relationship flags

    • Event triggers

    • Save handling

  • A recovery or rollback mechanism is urgently needed.

I am extremely disappointed, not because of a failed event, but because my entire save was lost.
Please treat this as a critical issue.

Can’t send any savegame as this is on Steam Cloud!

Update: I can now confirm that ALL saves before 09.02. were deleted, even though I only deleted saves created AFTER 09.02., 16:40.
The older saves had different names and were located further down the list.
This strongly indicates savegame corruption or incorrect save reference handling.
