I usually build houses for full zoi families (8 members), which means I need 8 sitting places in the kitchen.
Usually I just stick tables close together (See examples below).
As a general rule, it fits in the large circular rug with a little wiggle room on the outskirts.
So I’d like to request Round, Square, and long 8-seat tables, and maybe an octagonal one as well.
The circular/square ones should fit in the large circular rug too, perfect size IMHO.
Simple, but effective.
Later the “Set the table” action could also be improved for those 8-seat new tables.

Yes I also play in a similar style and would love a proper bigger table!

I was about to start a similar post.
I’d like tables for 6, but I don’t understand why the chairs can’t be placed on the short sides, like on real tables.

I have a large preset build from Canvas which has a conference table in the dining area, which IIRC seats 8. I think this must be available in one of the other tabs in build mode (“other” perhaps, along with the office items). I haven’t playtested it, but I assume this table will work for eating as others do, though I imagine it would not have the “set table” or serve food for 4 options available…
