Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): I saw a report of someone mentioning zois are back to be attracted to opposites again, so male is attracted to female, and female attracted to male. This was introduced it seems by the latest patch. Using the cheat console to unlock the profiles I’ve been able to confirm it through different Zois on a new game after Cahaya dropped.
I have 12 Zois attracted to the same gender and nothing has changed after the update.
I checked the Zois that travelled to Cahaya and the ones who remained in Dowon, with the CustomZoi cheat and via the relationship menu.
Is this in a new save? I created a new one once I downloaded the DLC, my save started in Cahaya and then moved to Bliss Bay.
I’ll try creating a new game again and check.
Did you move presets of your Zois in the new save?
Always double check if the presets have the attraction presets you intended for them.
The Zois in the presets are not your actual Zois.
Yep i made my only Zoi attracted to males but all NPCs are straight on this save for some reason. I saw there was an update after the release of Cahaya so maybe starting a new game will fix it. Will check later and update this.

What you can also do is to get some NPC ‘romance interests’ for your Zoi in CAZ with the CustomZoi cheat and change their preferences to male.
And then see which one he choses
