It would be pretty cool for a future DLC to focus on luxury. The world map could be inspired by the small country of Monaco. The country is sophisticated and wealthy and has a rich history.
The crown jewel of the city could be a casino similar to the Monte Carlo casino. It can even be cat themed! Your Zois can dress fancy and gamble their money away.With this DLC it can introduce a luck element that can not only benefit gambling but other things as well like accidents.
Don’t forget private helicopters!! love this idea and could fit well with ideas around expanding fame or business, so you could be a wealthy entrepreneur, real estate agent, CEO, have a business legacy or empire, be an influencer, band member, actor, model, rapper, singer, idol, etc.
To add on, there should be casinos for Zois to lose money in and “fake” luxuries that Zois can use to make them seem richer than they are, because I have some Zois who need that for their stories.
Yess!! I would love to see a lot of designer and old money looking CAZ items, princess coat dresses, hats, luxury glasses, futuristic looking watches, etc. Also this DLC could add various new vehicles, and functions like ordering limos, private jets, luxury party buses, etc.
I could also see functions on the phone our computer managing either your business (checking net worth, adding products, removing products, checking profits or revenue, market trends, etc. you may also get offers to sell your business too!!)
Same goes for game careers, where you can produce and release songs, albums, make internet posts (and receive positive or negative publicity reactions, enter online beef, etc), produce your own movie, have your agent look for movies for you to act in, and more!!
Yess!! And with this there could be some shadier business and crime going on — since with money, often comes some under the table deals, more drama, etc!! And for things like being a business empire or famous celebrity I think it would be cool to have to hire bodyguards, have shadier businessmen or celebrities make shady offers or contracts and more!
A slightly darker element would be awesome. With the current DLC, Cahaya, there are already loans but there could be a more shadier loan option. For example, loan sharks. I know currently that if you don’t pay your bills in Inzoi that your electricity gets shut off. Taking an example from The Sims, if you don’t pay of your loan from the loan sharks they can come to your house and take some off your stuff. Or better yet, come in and break some of your items or injure your Zoi. This of course will cause a negative moodlet.
On the topic of crime and The Sims, a burglar would be a nice addition too. It could have some of that luck element I mentioned in a prior post. If you’re unlucky you might have a higher chance of getting robbed.
this is an amazing suggestion and also let me add that this could also incorporate employees at the casinos and hotels etc! maybe even like a spa house would be nice as well!
Yes, active NPCs would make or break this DLC. Having a lively casino with staff looking busy will be a must. There would be casino dealers tending to the gambling tables, cocktail waitresses getting drinks for guests, security making sure no one causes trouble, bartenders making beverages etc.
No word of a lie, I would absolutley FRICKEN LOVE THIS!!! Bonus points if it comes with Celebrity/Fame gameplay. Imagine going from regular life to getting discovered and becoming a model, getting your face in magazines and getting known all over the Zoi world then moving to a city inspired by monaco and living out your best wealth inspired life! I would never put the game down, lol!
Omg such a great suggestion! I can already imagine the casino and career gameplay (trading stocks, investments, owning/investing in businesses, starting your own tech or SAAS or ecommerce company), perhaps even going from rags to riches and growing your wealth, then being able to invest in properties and other assets like boats and yachts. Hosting high profile parties on the yacht. Even becoming a luxury real estate agent and meeting clients to sell them properties and earning a commission. PLEASE DEVS IF YOU’RE READING THIS, CONSIDER THIS IDEAS ON THIS POST!! It would make the game so engaging and unique!
Plus, there can be improvements on what’s already in game such as the night clubs being wilder with dancers, bartenders, a VIP area with table service and don’t forget bouncers. This will bring up the crazy rich vibes.
Fake luxury goods can be implemented. There can be situations where you might shop at shadier shops only to find out you accidentally purchased bootleg items. There could be a mechanic where items are appraised and it could tell if items are fake or not. Depending on your Zoi’s personality it can give them a negative moodlet for being tricked or having bootleg items.
Of course there would be more legit shopping areas as well. A positive moodlet can happen when a Zoi purchases expensive items or a negative one of they want a simple lifestyle.
Yess!! This is my #1 DLC wish for this game. Along with possibly a modeling/acting/musician career or similar allowing for fame as well as fortune. Bring it on!!
A music career can add so many more instruments. There can be both contemporary and classical focuses. The venues for a music career would be breathtaking!
Can you imagine your Zois performing in a venue like the Salle Garnier?
Also, awards shows can be fun. We currently have rabbit hole contests but it would be nice if our Zois come home with a trophy or a plaque to decorate our homes.
Yess!! I love this, it just makes it feel like a life simulator. When I play life sims, personally, I either want to have my character follow a story or jump into the game and see where it takes me. This level of uncertainty and storytelling would be so cool especially for a dlc like this!
