[BUILD SUGGESTION] Add "Parking Spaces" Tool to Prevent Vehicles from Disappearing + Realistic Parking!

Hello, Krafton developers and inZOI community!

Currently, we have an immersion-breaking issue: when we get home with our car and exit it, it simply disappears. This eliminates the functionality of having garages or parking lots on our lots. For a game that includes detailed vehicles, a basic persistence and realistic parking system is missing!

Proposed Solution:
I suggest implementing a “Parking Spaces” tool (inspired by the classic The Sims 2), with the following features:

:wrench: Functional Blocks: In build mode, add a “Parking Space” item (as a demarcated block adjustable in size and shape).

:round_pushpin: Lot Limit: Each lot would have a maximum number of parking spaces (e.g., 2 for small houses, 4 for mansions), preventing abuse.

:oncoming_automobile: Intelligent Behavior: When arriving at the lot by car, the vehicle automatically parks in the nearest free space (if available).

:house: Customization: Covered parking spaces (closed garages), uncovered parking spaces, or parking spaces with custom structures (e.g., carports).

Game Benefits:
REALISM: Cars would remain visible on the lot, enriching the landscape (e.g., a family with a 2-car garage).

FUNCTIONALITY: Prevents vehicles from “magically disappearing,” giving purpose to building garages.

GAMEPLAY: Creates objectives (e.g., building a garage for your sports car) and allows interactions (e.g., “Wash the car” in the parking space).

NOSTALGIA + INNOVATION: Like The Sims 2, but with current technology—dynamic textures, realistic shadows, and visual effects.

Suggested Technical Details:
Parking Animation: Vehicle enters and exits the space with smooth animation (no teleportation).

Customization Options: Garage walls, automatic doors, organization tools (shelves, boxes).

Ownership System: Each parking space can be linked to a player-specific vehicle (prevents NPC cars from using your garage).

Why is this suggestion important?
It addresses a common frustration: Disappearing vehicles are anti-immersive in a game focused on realism.

It aligns with the game’s potential: inZOI has advanced graphics and detailed vehicles—it’s natural to have places to store them!

Proven inspiration: Similar systems worked in The Sims 2, Sims 3, and even GTA V (safe houses).

:light_bulb: Usage Example:
"I built an underground garage with 2 spaces. When I return home, my car enters the ramp, parks, and remains visible while I’m not using it.

If implemented, this tool would elevate the level of detail in inZOI, making it a new standard for life simulators! :trophy:

If you also want functional garages in inZOI, comment below:

How would you use this feature? (e.g., underground garage, guest parking).

Support with :+1: if you’ve ever lost a “ghost” car when leaving it!

I would rather they make vehicles be able to be left anywhere and not move altogether

I’d like a combination of all the ideas that have been presented in this forum. I’d love to be able to park my car on the street if that is what make sense, or in a parking lot if one is available. I’d also LOVE to have a customizable garage for my house. (My real garage barely fits a car, and I think it would be so fun to make a dream garage with car in inZOI.)

Yes, they could take a better look at this and then add an option when clicking on the car after it’s parked (park here), or as I said, a tool in construction mode to delimit a space and then when arriving home by car, click on the car and have an option to park in my garage/space

I think it would be nice to simply be able to get out of the car and leave it wherever like in most games (gta, etc)

I’m just saying thathttps://forum.playinzoi.com/t/suggestion-expand-building-lots-to-the-street-over-the-sidewalk-with-neighboring-plots/1281?u=grimlock it would be so much better.
